LearnWorlds free trial: how long it lasts and what it needs

The LearnWorlds free trial lasts 30 days and needs no credit card. Starting asks for an email address and the web address you want for the trial school, then a school name, a password and a template. A trial school is the free school created at sign-up, kept for 30 days and then scheduled for deletion.

No free plan follows it. The first paid plan, Starter, is $29 a month, billed monthly, as read on October 4, 2026, plus $5 on each paid enrollment. The Terms say starting a trial needs an account and acceptance of the Terms. LearnWorlds pricing lists every plan.

Trial schools are closed to logged-out visitors, so nobody can browse one without an account.

LearnWorlds's pricing page says the 30-day trial gives "all the core features", while its trial article lists 15 things left out, among them a custom domain, a payment gateway and white-labeling, so we say the trial is for building and testing and cannot take payments or use a custom domain.

Use the trial to build and test one course, with up to 3 SCORM packages and up to 60 learner accounts to see it as a learner does.

What happens on day 30

Nothing is charged at day 30. With no paid plan, the school is scheduled for deletion, so activate a plan before then if the course should stay. A plan can be activated at any time, monthly or yearly, and an organization can hold up to three trial schools at once. Is LearnWorlds free? No, and who should pick a free plan instead

No. LearnWorlds has no free plan: its Terms say creating and hosting a school needs a paid subscription, and the vendor's "Start for free" buttons open the trial. TalentLMS has a standing free plan for up to 5 users and 10 courses, with no credit card needed, so a small team that wants a free tier should pick it.
