LearnWorlds SCORM: check package limits and prove the learner record
Check LearnWorlds SCORM limits, estimate package capacity and test launch, resume, completion, scores and version updates before choosing a plan.

LearnWorlds is worth evaluating for packaged training when its plan limits fit your library. A successful upload is only the first check: prove the completion record, required score and update behavior before committing.
Check the package budget first
LearnWorlds lists SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 3rd Edition support. Pro Trainer permits 20 SCORM packages, 400 MB each and 2 GB in total. Learning Center and above list unlimited packages, 400 MB each. LearnWorlds's plan comparison and the body of its SCORM article put SCORM packages on the trial and from Pro Trainer, while the article's own availability list also names Starter, so we say SCORM starts at Pro Trainer.

Count the library you will actually maintain
Make an inventory with one row per upload: course, language, client variant, file size and version owner. A course with three translated packages uses three entries in this inventory. Do not count only the number of course titles. Keep a separate note of old versions you need to retain and confirm how the merchant counts them.
The calculator below is arithmetic, not an account entitlement check. It assumes equal-size files and decimal units. It cannot inspect a ZIP file or determine how storage is counted in your school. When the result approaches a limit, compare the real inventory with the account display and obtain confirmation before committing.

Uses 1GB = 1,000MB for an approximate comparison. Your account’s storage calculation and retained-version treatment need confirmation. A result within these numbers does not prove compatibility or plan eligibility.
Run the package through five states
Use a representative lesson from your actual authoring tool and a fictional learner. Save the export settings and package version so a later failure can be reproduced. Choose a lesson that includes the difficult interaction, not merely the smallest upload.

Completion and score are different requirements
LearnWorlds documents completion at the whole-package level, not individual sub-modules. Its guidance directs score reporting to a graded SCORM activity. Do not assume that a completed lesson contains the answer-level evidence a client wants. Define the exact record first, then use the reporting guide to test it.

Treat a version update as a separate acceptance test
A replacement package can change learner records. Test both a new learner and a returning learner in a disposable course; compare before replacement, immediately after replacement and after revisiting. The graded-SCORM documentation has a specific Keep Score caveat, explained in our reporting guide. Preserve an export or other permitted record before testing. Do not experiment with live learner history.
When to choose a simpler path
If ordinary video, text and a native quiz meet the teaching requirement, building a packaged-content workflow may create avoidable maintenance. If question-level evidence is essential, neither an upload badge nor a completion percentage is sufficient. Compare the required report with Thinkific or your existing LMS before changing platforms. A platform that fails one mandatory requirement should not win because it has more optional features.
